Fall ball registrations will be
taking place during closing ceremonies and throughout the summer. Fall ball
normally starts after Labor Day and ends the end of October/ beginning of
November. District 5 has instituted some changes in fall ball divisions this
year. Not only will we have the usual “Training and Development” levels, but
there are also going to be some highly competitive levels as well. Once again
there will be travel involved throughout the Northwest/ West area of District
5. Ages: league-age 7-15 (for 2009 season). The fees for the lower divisions
will be $60.00 and the upper divisions $90.00
As of right now, the lower divisions will break down like this: Gold division: Highly competitive majors division made up solely of all-stars and hand picked teams. A division: Competitive division for those already in the majors division and those who will be moving up next season. (National league and American div w/2yrs - 10 & 11 yr olds) B division: Somewhat competitive with an emphasis on training and development. Must have 1 yr American division or 2 yrs AA division experience. (9 - 11 yr olds) C division: Highly developmental. This is for those who will be moving up from the A division (machine pitch) and those with 1 yr in the AA division. Softball: Any and all girls interested need to sign up. Last year we had two minor-division teams. Last year was the first year of fall-ball softball; we hope to make it bigger and better this year.
