PHILOSOPHY
Majors is a competitive division designed
to create an All-Star team that can compete at a national level.
Thornydale Little League structures the Major Little League Division to
include only 10, 11, and 12 year olds.
RULE AND REGULATION EXCEPTIONS
The playing rules will be in accordance
with the National Little League Official Regulations and Playing Rules
Handbook. Exceptions to the rules, amended by the Thornydale Little League
Board of Directors are as follows:
1)
Scorecards will be kept for every game and returned to the snack
bar after each game. They
will include line-ups, any substitutions, and all pitchers with innings
noted. The
Home team is responsible for the official game scorecard.
2)
Teams unable to field 9 players will forfeit the game with a 0-6
loss recorded.
